International Peace Day, Thursday, September 21 2006
Polk County Citizens for Peace and Justice will be presenting a
peace awareness vigil in commemoration of International Peace Day, from 12 noon to
1 pm on
September 21 at Fort Blount Park in Bartow. Come by to learn about the
International Peace Day initiative sponsored by the United Nations and
efforts
here in Polk County to support world peace.
Join
thousands around the world that day who will be FEELING and intending the
presence of unconditional love all day long. We will visualize this
beautiful
energy expanding and reaching to all parts of the globe...we will hold in
meditation the beauty of life and feel total appreciation and gratitude
for all
life...the water and the air we breath, realizing that through water and
air we
are divinely connected. Through self acceptance and forgiveness, we will
unconditionally love ourselves and others...Through tolerance and
compassion, we
embrace diversity. The ultimate result of unconditional love is Peace!!
